The article reads: "Not to be confused with California's two actual public university systems, the University of California and the California State University."
could I ask for a clarification here: as a fan of The Big Bang Theory, I understand the Caltech that Sheldon Cooper and the rest work at is a fictionalisation of a real place. but reading into it, the real-life Caltech in Pasadena CA. seems to represent a third tier of university in California: a wholly privately-funded university standing outside the two categories cited in this entry.
Should the entry be revised slightly - preferably by somebody with more direct knowledge of California's university system than this British troper - to note this?
