The article states that the first butterfly knives were "manufactured" in Spain, even though they were first MADE in the Philippines. Perhaps this could be clarified? It implies that's where they originate.

I think we should add a real life section. Balisongs are quite popular among some subsections of the knife community. I actually own a couple, and I cant provide pretty much all the info needed on it.
