I think we need to clarify this trope a bit more in terms of what 'counts' as siblings.

There's been some bother in the example for The Flash (2014) as Barry and Iris, who are listed as such because Barry was raised by her father Joe (who he developed a father/son like dynamic), but aren't related by blood, don't consider each other siblings (not even in a Like Brother and Sister kind of way), and Barry was never legally adopted by Joe. There's been some issue though on if they count as Not Blood Siblings, and if that would make them an example of this trope.

Largely, it comes down to this paragraph: Frequently actual incest is avoided through the device of siblings who aren't really — they're fostered, or step-sibs, or adopted. Thus, while in arbitrary terms of relationship they may be brother or sister, in "true" terms of blood they are not, and may pursue their chosen target with relative impunity. Often it's just an extreme version of the Childhood Friend Romance setup; male and female characters who normally couldn't cohabitate or possibly even interact normally with each other are 'forced' to but meet with an arbitrary contrivance preventing them from developing past it. The only difference is that the audience is more likely to accept the latter contrivance as believable.

Now, to me, that comes of as if its talking about how the trope is commonly averted rather than loose ways to consider it. The Laconic for the trope furthers this, as it specifies only full or half siblings rather than Not Blood Siblings. Add in the other factors, and how this is more someone's personal interpretation of their relationship rather than the actual depiction while this trope, as a main page trope, would usually require this to be the actual manner of which its treated as on the show.

So, because of that, I feel the page needs to be cleared up to clarify what it considers plausible examples or not.

Might be something to ask in the Trope Talk forum.

Really, I think it's the most logical thing. Sibling Incest's probably the way to go.

Well, renaming pages here takes usually a far stronger argument than "this name may be better". Especially given that this name is enjoing very good usage with 12,516 inbounds.

In the PC game Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, the in-game descriptions present a rather incest-y story: Krolm, the supreme God of everything (mostly of destruction) had somehow given birth to two chidlren (Krolm is male), Helia(female) and Lunord (male). Later, Helia and Lunord HAD SIX TWIN CHILDREN. Two proved to be rejects and ended up as Demigod of the Goblins/Deformed Slave-master, while the other 4 became actual Gods of Life/Law/Death/Chaos

The potholed word "relative" leads to Incredibly Lame Pun, which is a misuse of that trope. Unfortunately, it is locked, so I cannot change it to link to Incest Is Relative (or any other trope page, or none at all) instead.

Oh, dear, here we go again...another one that's been locked, which is doubly bad because A.) only some media are covered by sub-pages, which would make it quite inconvenient if a new example showed up in one of the media that's still on the main page, and B.) like most things that get locked, there's a really friggin' obvious error that needs to be corrected, in this case an example that landed outside the folder. Actually, it's not so much a full example as it is a lone word. Also, Die Walkure is there twice. I guess what I'm trying to say is, locking articles is not the answer.

Why was this page even locked in the first place? If there was an edit war, I can't see it in the page history.

Then look below in this one. My guess is that someone tried to post an image, seeing as how that post was dated just six days before mine.

Does anyone know where this trope originated in anime/manga? It seems like something created in a really known and respected anime and influenced other to do the same.

It should be noted that incest is not forbidden in quite many countries, as long as the participants are adult (e.g. Japan, Belgium, Russia, the Netherlands, France, Portugal and quite a few more) and that there also are lots of countries where such couples may marry. Depending on where the samples come from, the couples may be totally legit.
