Shouldn't we separate examples by "infinite ammo", "no individual magazines" and "infinite reserve ammo", or something of the kind? The trope is REALLY broad as it is.

Batman and Green Arrow almost never run out. Green Arrow runs out in '"Patriot Act" and Batman runs out in "Destroyer. (Both Justice League Unlimited.) Rule of Drama is in play in both cases.

removed this, as if it has a limit to what it can carry it's not in fact bottomless.

  • They also had the Quiver of Ehlonna, which wasn't actually bottomless but, despite being the size of a normal 20-arrow quiver, it can hold 180 arrows (or objects of equivalent size), 12 bow-sized objects, and 6 spear-sized objects.

Myself and a few friends call Bottomless Magazines "John Woo clips" for the lack of/dramatically delayed time between reloads in his films.
