I feel like red and white being employed for eerieness or horror seems like a valid trope.

Does it count if the wedding dress isn't white? The examples have a lot of non-wedding-dress white dresses, so would a non-white wedding dress be an example?

Eh, I'd be doubtful. Part of the idea is the contrast of red and white, and of blood and the purity symbolised by a white wedding dress.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

This article is full of "not-wedding-dress-but" examples. Is the trope less specific than I thought, or should those be removed?

"This must be Thursday," said Arthur to himself, sinking low over his beer, "I never could get the hang of Thursdays."
