To add to Myths & Religion:

The Bible: Ahijah the Shilonite becomes this in 1st Kings chapter 14 around the time King Jeroboam's son Abijah becomes sick. Although Jeroboam's wife is told to disguise herself when approaching the prophet so that he would not recognize her, God tells Ahijah ahead of time who's coming to see him, and so instantly addresses her and her situation the instant she steps in.

the example from princess in the frog does not fit the trope in the least

If it doesn't fit, then remove it. On the other hand, the other wiki tells me that the character is blind, a voodoo priestess, and (it says) a Fairy Godmother-type character. That seems to fit pretty well to me.

Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.
