Anyone got any information on the <FANMADE> tabletop RPG?

I've been googling around for it and got nothing besides the already posted document.

Reason I ask is that I kinda want to keep updated on any changes to it (after all, it's just an alpha version right now). Plus the original authors might need input from folks who might be interested in playtesting it (like me).

Organization idea: So this is how I think we ought to do it, since we have two conflicting sources, the OVA and the video game, which I will now guess are not affiliated with each other.

This plan will only work if the video game ends up being supported by huke as the OVA was (otherwise, the video game needs to get its own page since I wouldn't quite call it firmly canon).

  • On the main page, quote things like "In the OVA", "In the video game", "In huke's artwork".
  • On the character page, set aside a separate section for the video game and make things like "Black★Rock Shooter (OVA version)".
  • On the WMG, separate them into separate sections (OVA and video game).

I'm not including the 3DPV because I do not consider it canon (Anomaro was not affiliated in huke in any way, so the 3DPV is just a really popular fanfiction). Also, I don't want to make these changes until we get more info on whether the video game is connected to the Ordet production, to huke, both, or neither. It's just a suggestion.

If I'm not mistaken, Black Rock Shooter predates the Vocaloid song. The original artist, Huke, had been drawing her for some time before then on PIXIV before the song came up and helped her explode into popularity.

On top of that, her design is also unrelated to Miku. The only thing linking the two are that song.

That would in fact be correct… kinda. When huke created Black Rock Shooter she initially had shorter hair (so basically, Mato, which is an amazing Mythology Gag) and when his works were found by Supercell member and leader ryo (a well known composer who has created a lot of popular Vocaloid songs using Hatsune Miku’s voice), the guy liked them so much that he asked huke permission to create a song based on BRS and invited him to join the group. It was at this time that her design was changed to the long twin tails she sports today (whether this change was based on Hatsune Miku or not we will never know, though it’s not like the two of them are the only characters in history with long twin tails), the video was made, the thing became a huge hit and the rest is history.

However, since the average joe wouldn’t go through the trouble of digging all this information up, most people who saw the video simply assumed that the girl featured was a dark Hatsune Miku (since the song effectively uses her voice) and thus the misinformation spread along with its rise to fame.

And with that being said, I'm going to edit the main page to reflect this information, assuming no one would mind of course.

Hey, does anyone mind if I split tropes relating to the 3DPV into their own subsection?

9 does something similar. Sounds good to me.

Err, I think we better lump everything related to the B*RS Project in this page. That way, we can include the PV as well as the artbooks.
