I think it is. We're being subtly manipulated by "Before" and "After" Pictures used the other way around.

Is the page image supposed to be mocking the trope? I mean, it's just my opinion, but the "after" pic looks too conventional; her "before" image looks really cute, in a kind of Shorttank sort of a way.
