Shouldn't the description read "when hit or struck" as well as "when killed", since about half the examples don't involve killing the monster? Including Asteroids, really.

There is also a necromorph in Dead Space that is called "Divider" and "divides" in lesser spawns when killed.
Is it worth mentioning that starfish belong to the taxonomic class Asteroidea?
