Did you know, for misspelling this word, a Victorian boy was put in the stocks for 3 days. And 3 more days for sobbing! (Yes, the teacher really did that)

Um no, actually it doesn't "sound familiar." Unless you are claiming that someone wishes to first resubmit America to the British Crown and second make the Episcopalian Church a department of the government.

I think the point is that "separation of Church and State" is supposed to sound familiar.

But I do agree, it really doesn't add anything but confusion. That can be cut.
