can this trope apply to live service games? i know one of the definitions focuses a lot on sequels, but i've played enough Korean F 2 P MM Os to know that devs can cave in to clamoring demand for Qo L changes every once in a while.

The trope definition has pretty much drifted from "game changes its rules for the player's convenience" towards "game introduces features that alleviate frustration from its previous installment". Should either definition be a new trope in of itself, or would it be better to update the trope description to encompass what it's used for now?

It looks like they went for the second option, though I don't really like how it was done. I feel like it would make more sense for it to be two tropes since there doesn't seem to be much connecting the two usages besides the trope name.
