Additional examples from film: in TOO YOUNG TO KISS (1951), June Allyson is a pianist pretending to be 12 to impress a concert promoter. And in THE MAJOR AND THE MINOR (1942), Ginger Rogers pretends to be 12 to get a child fare on a train. Both hinge on the women dressed as little girls.
