How about "Hollywood Archaeology" as an alternate title. That's what I what I searched for and was very close to YKTT Wing it. I think HA sufficiently describes the trope about as well as a title can.

Well before I was ever a Troper, indeed likely before TV Tropes even existed, my friends and I used to make references to a "swashbuckling archaeologist" whenever we wanted to describe not only Indiana Jones and every expy of Indiana Jones ever, or when the situation explicitly called for a No Celebrities Were Harmed version of Indiana Jones.

I think an alternate name for this trope should be Swashbuckling Archaeologist.
