The Real Life section

I agree that there are legitimate real life examples (I just added one), but it should be made real clear how the affected person expressed their genuine amusement

No... they're not even really related.

Yep, no similarity at all.

Made some slight changes to the compare and contrast paragraph. I was a bit confused by what was originally there, honestly. If nobody is laughing at Tough Room, how is it similar to this trope? I think Tough Room is actually the aversion.

Also, I'm not gonna touch it, but could someone put a little more context on the quote for this trope?

"One story in Batman: Black and White concerned the Black and White Bandit, an artist who became obsessed with black and white after going colorblind."

Wait...between this guy, Rainbow Raider, and Crazy Quilt, that's *3* DC supervillains whose motivation is colorblindness!

Can we add in a tab for Troper Tales? I got one we can start with myself.

I can say I have a few. Being a deadpan snarker during Basic Training caused me a fair bit of grief. My instructors came up to me after it was over and basically said "You were this close to making us break out laughing."

Am I the only one who finds it funny that the announcement that Troper Tales is dead was posted by Mr Death?
