I removed the following example because it fits Nice Job Fixing It, Villain better:

  • Chronic (if pitiable) Villain Gollum in J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings is a peculiar example: in the book's climax, it is he who ultimately saves Middle-earth from utter disaster, by sheer chance. Although nobody appears to be celebrating him. In an interesting version of the trope, the event reflects favourably on several protagonists, including Frodo, Sam, Bilbo, Gandalf, Aragorn, Faramir and the Elves, who all indirectly allowed his final intervention because they had the decency to spare his life when they could have easily (and very understandably) executed him.

Tino Balducci in the Nancy Drew game "Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon." Not sure where that would go...

◦Not to mention that virtually all of Harry's heroics come down to luck. ■In book 1, he doesn't save the Stone — it was never in danger of theft until he blundered in, and only some "ancient magic" that he had never heard of saved him.

the stone was in danger of being stolen just not by whome they thought Quill/ voldermort almost had it if not for them

◦In book 5, he believes Sirius is in danger because he (Harry) didn't bother learning Occlumency, and has to be saved at the last minute by Dumbledore and the Order.

Snape teaching of it to him was impaired by Snapes' hositlity to him and his father.

Redundancy - under Film, Duck You Sucker and A Fistful of Dynamite are both listed. They're the same movie. I'll leave it to more experienced editors to resolve this.
