Fallen London has lots of Flavor text relating to this trope (in fact, different areas in london, such as Spite and Wolfstack Docks, have learly distinct types of fog from one nother), but I know that quoting all of the examples of such isn't necessary.

It would be perfect for a Quotes Page, though.

The Forgotten Quarter has the thinnest fog, but it is dusty and light tends to reflect off of it rather than penetrate. On bad days, lamplight reflects off of "walls of mist".

The "The pea-soupers of Old Wolfstack" are described as a "stinking mist".

Spite, where "smoke and acid fog drifts up from the dark streets", has lung-irritating smog.

Winewood heath is perpetually covered in "fog thick enough to knit with." but even that doesn't compare with the fog of the Unterzee, where "The visible world ends three feet from your fog lights." and "Tendrils of cold, salty mist drift upwards from the zee like cobwebs."

Should I have these as different examples since they describe different types of fog, or as on example since they are all from Fallen London?
