How do we discuss the inequality in the marriage agreement? Arnold makes it clear from the start that he *will* marry Rishe, and if plan A doesn't work, he'll move onto plan B. At the same time, he goes out of his way not to demand other things from her that might be against her wishes - he obeys her when she tells him not to touch her and allows her to claim penalties should he break that rule without her consent, uses their wager over a duel to gain the right to buy her a ring but says she's under no obligation to wear it, and at the beginning when Dietrich's father tries to pressure her to give consent to the proposal, obviously fearing that Arnold will start a war if he's refused, Arnold steps into the conversation and says that her answer won't affect relations between their countries (even though nobody believes him).

The fact that he could force her into things is an ongoing issue that he's clearly conscious of and goes out of his way to avoid forcing her even by accident, but I'm not sure how to list it on the tropes.
