How do we know the "author's" name is Carla? That's the name of the woman Little Jacon's father is "humping" on p. 113, but she wouldn't be writing while that was happening. Or would she, in the Insane Troll Logic world in which this takes place?

She also evidently writes in real-time about her hallucination that her hands are dissolving, so sure, why not.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

Ok, I think the name is a pretty good trope name, but what about the book of the same name? Sure, it's a big lie, but it's worth discussing in that context.

As it turned out the Trope Repair Shop came by and renamed the trope to Alice Allusion. This page now covers the book.
