It suffers from the same problem as so many "old" works do: not enough "modern" audience to do the job. I can't help with this much, anyway. The only ones I read were Shogun and King Rat (but that one 5 different times). I don't think watching Tai-Pan's adaptation counts as knowing it, so that would be it.

Will there be plans to make a page for the upcoming Shogun series on FX? Sounds like an excellent opportunity to do so (even if not for the original Shogun novel).
Is there a particular reason this is just one page instead of one per book?
