We question this decision (though only mildly), since the gag was specifically making fun of the misuse, and wonder how to handle it. Even after the time expires, we're not going to be replacing it with an actual example. Edited by wingedcatgirl Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. This gag was pulled as part of the GCPTR cleanup, with the edit reason of "Due to excessive misuse, Getting Crap Past the Radar is on-page examples only until 01 June 2021. Yes, even here.":
- Getting Crap Past the Radar:
- A completely innocent joke with no intentional adult meaning. But This Troper has their mind in the gutter and is trying to find things to shoehorn to make the work look mature.
- An actually inappropriate and obscene joke, even though the work is specifically targeted at and rated for mature audiences who can handle it.
- Some Accidental Innuendo that wasn't censored because the censors recognized that it wasn't intentional.
- Something whose inappropriate meaning is so obscure, the only people who would understand it are bound to also be old enough to handle inappropriate humor.

Did you PM the person who pulled it? If the wick is a problem, just dewick it and leave it as text, which is what happened with a similar joke Bi The Way entry on the Characters page.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

Well it's well past the on-page-only moratorium anyway now lol so we'll just put it back like this
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.
Can we discuss whether it's okay to dewick but still keep trope examples that used to be infamously misused across the site? Like Adult Fear and Bi The Way and all that?
