I feel like Rule 27 of Cellblock A is unrelated to the subject of genre savviness and is more of a dramatic flair than anything.

Nothing new there. There's quite a few like that. After all, we're villains, and sometimes music is needed to inspire the troops, and demoralize the enemy. Of course, I didn't write that one.

Guys, we can only have 100 per page. We should create a new cellblock for the 1101-1200

Would be useful - I wish I knew how to make a new page as I know I've posted a number of the last few entries myself.

Actually, we need one for 1201-1300.

Hello, I'm kind of new to editing/writing wikis, so I'm going to hopefully write this for others to catch on and run with.

We should transport these prisoners to new cellblocks, or camps, or categories, or whatever you want to call them. Whereas the current cellblocks are kind of like a refugee camp, with new prisoners getting tossed into the next available cell, these new blocks would be categorized, sticking the prisoners with their own kind. Although this goes against the advice of #36 on the original list, note  they may be happier this way and these are not the heroes; they are the peasants in our psychological study. I think we'll be safe.

A few proposed camps:

  • On Holding Prisoners
  • On Combat Tactics
  • On Weapon Tactics(may or may not constitute two lists)
  • On the Women and Children of My Side
  • On the Women and Children of The Hero's Side(Definitely needs two lists)
  • On Public Relations
  • On Dungeon Design(do we need sub-categories, or are there a lot of repeats)
  • On Legions of Terror(or On Outfitting your Armies)
  • On Personal Conduct

Obviously, we can clone the prisoners between the camps, and camps will prevent them from seeing their clones (or twins or close-looking relatives), who would inevitably spook them out; we don't need the panic like we've got in the current cellblocks. On the same note, this will be a chance to cull prisoners who carry the exact same information as others. If we need both, but they aren't distinct enough, we can do some gene-splicing. It would also be interesting to put conflicting prisoners right next to one another and let them duke it out for our amusement and convenience, so we don't have to be the voices in their heads. On that note, the move to categorized camps will enable us to cull and/or cure all those pesky schizophrenic prisoners who have popped up in more recent cellblocks, starting around cellblock C. Be wary; this version of schizophrenia is actually contagious, as their neighbors will think it's okay and not fight the stigma so much.

I probably won't be here to oversee this, so hopefully you have some of your wonderfully competent staff there to take this and run with it. To anyone not familiar with TV Tropes humor, here's a Disclaimer

Greetings,

you might want to post that here.

Okay, I moved it over to that page.... but um.... How do I delete this topic, as it has no purpose now? Or is that something only mods can do?

Only moderators can do this, and we don't really remove posts unless they violate rules, which this one doesn't.

Okay. I guess I was just confused, because I had assumed that this page would be overflowing with discussion over the months, and that the chatter had simply been deleted... Or did everyone who wanted to chat already know about the other thread, because it was moved from here to there?

Well, the other thread seems dormant at the moment, so I'm going to ask you instead. I really don't want to step on others toes with editting. Because stepping on toes makes one an awkward outcast, not an overlord. If I edit the page (the one that this discussion is attached to), to include categories, below the Cellblocks A-I, and create the pages for each of those lists would that be a problem? Should I wait for approval by a few people or just go for it? I'm almost certain to not get all the vows in before I recess from TV tropes for a while, but I could provide a spring board for whoever finds it next.

Wait for input in either thread, I think.

After we spent a LONG time with just three cellblocks, someone created Additional Evil Overlord List Cellblock D and Additional Evil Overlord List Cellblock E. Why are they both comparatively short?

Shouldn't these be numbered, like the original was? Or is there any reason not to add numbers to evil overlord list(s)?
