No Recent Examples, Please!. Until then, we've been keeping watch in the SBIH cleanup forums and it likely will qualify. But we need to wait until July in case anyone tries to defend it or something.

Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectWelp, it's July now. How about we open up discussion on the Scuttlebutt?
Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectI've seen a lot of negative reviews and videos, yet no positive ones regarding the song, I think we should add it.
^ Time for a writeup then.
Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectCommented out this example for having zero context:
"The gay pride dance scene in Season 2 [of Netflix's version of Queer as Folk], which even defenders of Netflix can't defend."
Does anyone have any info about its reception? Was it as horrible as its presence on this page makes out? My Google-fu is a bit weak, and the one post about it I did find was actually quite fond of the replaced song.
Edited by DieselI removed Super Mario Advance 2. For one the post itself it admitted that it wasn’t bad Per Se. Also a good chunk people (myself included, blame it on nostalgia) actually like the soundtrack or don’t think it’s that bad. Someone could rewrite it with Valley of Bowser which is the only track I’d say could qualify (though I don’t hate it myself).
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last? Hide / Show RepliesPersonally though, while the SNES soundtrack is obviously better, I think that the GBA soundtrack has it’s own special charm (once again, you could probably blame nostalgia).
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?Would the theme songs for the following shows count?
Fanboy and Chum Chum, Pickle and Peanut, Angela Anaconda, Hammerman, Wacky World of Tex Avery, Mega Babies,
Edited by magnumtropus Hide / Show RepliesI'd add Mega Babies maybe.

Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkAlright, so a few months ago, I pitched the idea of adding Supermarket by Logic to the Albums page and I was told that while it fit the criteria for SBIH, it was technically a soundtrack because it was a tie-in for the book. I finally got around to writing a rough draft of sorts. Hope it's somewhat good enough.
Examples should be stand-alone, and not mention other examples (in case they get moved around or deleted), so drop that comparison to "Ocean to Ocean". Other than that, looks good.
I think the widely-panned Nostalgia Critic's The Wall is hated enough to be listed, but I want to know if it being the soundtrack for a web video disqualifies it. On the one hand, the Horrible Web Videos page had to be deleted. On the other hand, the soundtrack was released separately as an album, which suggests that we can list the album itself.
Hide / Show RepliesSounds like a good idea to me. Just make sure that the example is about the soundtrack itself.
I'm glad I came across this post, because I was just about to ask the same thing on the Horrible Albums discussion. My rough draft for this entry is just about finished, but I want to at least clear up whether it should be on the Albums page or Soundtracks page before anything gets finalized. I'd argue the Albums page tbh if only because the ENTIRE video is devoted to the music whereas a "soundtrack" connotes being secondary to a specific work. If anything, the album is actually about three and a half minutes LONGER than the video.
It's already listed here though.

SP00PY month! Hide / Show RepliesThe movie's not even out yet! At least wait a while after the release date before adding it.
And yes, I know it was released online and got a pretty tepid response, but what if it's no different than the other songs in the film? What if there's one that's even worse? What if the general audience just thinks it's alright once the film comes out?
Actually the rest of the film's soundtrack was much more warmly received so it could still qualify. However there are people who think it sounds better at 1.25 speed.
I looked it up on YouTube. These were the first three results:
- An upload of the scene (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEHX72PKmkk) that has 95k likes to 9.2k dislikes.
- An audio-only upload (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceSt3bYwP0A) that has 49k likes to 1.1k dislikes.
- A shorter, older upload of the scene (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yxd96_p47o0) that has 67k likes to 6k dislikes.
- All of them have a lot of positive comments.
It doesn't look like it qualifies.
Edited by MathsAngelicVersionWould "Swim This Way" from Kingdom Hearts 2 (which has an otherwise amazing soundtrack) count? Not only is it one of the reasons Atlantica is so hated but the fanbase hates this song in particular. It suffers from a bland (by Kingdom Hearts standards) backing, asinine lyrics ("Finny Fun" anyone), poor singing, and is the first of 5 songs in Atlantica. The only other song/piece in the franchise that comes close to this backlash is "A New Day is Dawning" (Atlantica's finale).
Hide / Show RepliesAlright, I guess someone should write an entry for this song. I hope they note that Kingdom Hearts as a whole is known for its amazing soundtrack and that this song isn't indicative of the soundtrack. "Swim This Way" is just pure cringe.
Would this qualify, or is it too So Bad, It's Good? https://mobile.twitter.com/Saberspark/status/1096528839457550337
SP00PY month! Hide / Show RepliesOh god I forgot. Links don't work in the discussion section on my phone, for some reason. It was like a really terrible musical number from some Finding Nemo ripoff that someome posted on Twitter. I couldn't get the name of the movie and I posted this so long ago that I don't even remember much of the song, so sorry :(
SP00PY month! There's also a couple examples I feel should be removed. They have a small following and just come across as So Bad, It's Good at worst. Do you guys mind if I delete them?
The Sega 32X version of Doom has a polarizing soundtrack. However I've found people who like it either because it sounds funny or creepy. I also don't think it's bad enough to count.
Second, the soundtrack to Back to the Future isn't that bad. It has some positive comments on the linked video. The main complaint in the entry is that it's a Suspiciously Similar Song by accident and plays too long.
I suggest "The Scuttlebutt" from The Little Mermaid (2023). An obnoxious, ear-grating, and appalling nonsense hit sung by Awkwafina, an artist who ought to never sing/rap again.
