This troper's emotionally distant, slightly psychotic and heartbroken badass character in his A Song of Ice and Fire RPG isn't well liked amongst the group. He's a borderline Psycho for Hire whose only contribution to the group is being the sneaky guy. At the end of the campaign, he hadn't undergone really any character development aside from breaking down even more due to pretty much being a human weapon. Then, a character played by a girl this troper has an actual crush on performed a heroic sacrifice to save him. Just him. While it made ME feel all WAFF-y, the character promptly proceeded to continue as he had been and betray the entire party remorselessly, due to an intense hatred for all of them, and mental instability.
