Golly. Am I the only one who thinks this page could stand to have a clean-up? I mean, just look at it and tell me I don't have a point in my judgment. The more I peruse through this whiny mess, the more I feel compelled to bust out a "World's Smallest Violin" solo.

Its mostly just Mr W and myhandsomevolcanoe blowing the game way out of proportion and trolling the fans/defenders, but yeah, I think a cleanup would help.
The Other Steve just took care of that, and it's probably best it stay that way. As long as we can avoid jumping down people's throats and hurling personal attacks and bile at them if anyone new comes in with a JBM, but also keep in mind that we don't need four separate topics about, say, the Ridley scene or the Authorization system, we should be good.

I locked it. This is stupid. Incidentally, Ask The Tropers is where you're technically supposed to report stuff, but the report tool is still relatively new so its role isn't firmly established as of yet.

Jesus, I actually have a bit of fridge logic for this game, and now I can't post it in the "Just Bugs Me" page. Thanks, complaining fans/haters. [/sarcasm]
- Metroid: Other M puts great emphasis on how dangerous unfreezable Metroids are. They are the basis for Adam's Heroic Sacrifice, as he believes they are too dangerous for Samus to face.
- She faced Fission Metroids in Metroid Prime, which often could not be frozen.
- She faced Metroid Hatchers in Metroid Prime 3, which could not be frozen at all.
- Most egregiously, all of the Metroids above the larval stage in Metroid 2 were unfreezable, and had to be taken down with missiles.
- So... Why the hell does Adam not know this? Why did Samus not tell him? Why did Samus express disbelief at unfreezable Metroids if she's fought them before?
Can I post a reply to the Just Bugs Me page saying that I haven't played the game, but I'd just like to point out that not having Jennifer Hale do Samus' voice was a Missed Moment of Awesome?
(my argument being largely based on the great work she did on Mass Effect... + You Tube natch)

It would take a herculean editor to condense all of the repeated fights over the exact same subject in this JBM, but I believe it can be done. There are a lot of legitimate complaints about this game, and there should be an unlocked place to discuss them in detail. Within reason, of course.
Then again, maybe this locked page itself demonstrates the buggeries of this game better than any discussion.
