Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.
I have a question. Why does vermin (the cat) try to stop coraline from hiding the key , or at least standing in front of the door and then she moves him with her foot? Sorry if this is already figured out but i'm not completely sure.
