A note about the armguards: They don't actually run against what's in the Zombie Survival Guide source material, contrary to the implication in the Armour Is Useless entry.
Brooks' ZSG points out that while traditional plate- or chainmail, or modern bomb suits and full-body armor are worse than useless since they impede your freedom of movement and limit your vision, Kevlar armguards and shinguards are actually a good idea. Not only will it reduce if not eliminate the risk of a bite while you bring an arm up to defend yourself, it'll also help against animal attacks. It also recommends Kevlar or other similar, lightweight bulletproof vests for urban environments to limit the risk of taking fire.
I've been through the desert, on the horse with no name, and it feels good to get out of the rain. Why was the Adaptation Decay trope removed? It seems a perfect addition the page...
Hide / Show Repliesat a guess, I'd say that In Name Only makes it not an adaptation at all, sharing only the name with the source. They have a character who is new to the 'verse, and only two identical instances in common with the origin. So arguably, it's not an adaptation so much?
speaking of the In Name Only section, the family that shelter the Lanes are Portuguese speakers, not Spanish.

It's very weird that all the humans who turned around Gerry turned in twelve seconds, but there are mentions of it taking minutes or hours in the places he visits.
The train is in the station what was up with that weird count during Gerry's first observation of the twelve second interval — is there a trope for weird and creepy but incongrous moment?
Oh, and I thought Gerry's call to Karin got cut off due to the EMP from the nuclear explosion they saw in the distance?

Peter Capaldi On the main page he listed under Casting Gag. Shouldn't that be Hilarious in Hindsight? He was cast and filmed his part nearly two years ago and I sincerely doubt he or anyone else knew he would be the Doctor then.
