Deleted the following for being Conversation Inthe Main Page that violated Example Indentation in Trope Lists:

Under Faceless Goons

  • Notably, the U.S. pilots are also frequently shown flying with their oxygen masks dangling to the side. This provides a minor Lock-and-Load Montage — the pilots snap their masks in place when they are about to enter combat.

The following also violated Repair, Don't Respond:

Under Red Oni, Blue Oni

  • However, Maverick wears a BLUE helmet, while Goose wears ORANGE.

Commented out a bunch of ZC Es.

  • In the first combat "hop," Maverick gets in trouble for pursuing Jester below the "hard deck" - when in reality, Jester would have been in far more trouble for using the hard deck to avoid a losing engagement. Additionally, the hard deck represents the ground, so Jester tried to shake a pursuing bogey by crashing.

Hm, pardon my lack of military knowledge, much less military exercise knowledge, but the way I see it, Mav had already won the hop when Jester broke the hard deck, and continuing to pursue Jester would be pointless since the latter had "crashed" at that point.

Too bad there's no category for the Amazing Disappearing Reappearing Missile. Because of the use of stock footage, every time an F-14 fires a missile, it's always the same one (on the left wing root). Even if it's the same F-14, in the same dogfight.
