Expounding on the premise of: "According to Greg Sestero (Oh hai, Mark), it was supposed to be a play that all takes place in the same room, to save money on sets. He just never changed the title when transitioning to screen."

So, Just for Fun... what WOULD have been a better title for the film? I always thought "Love Will Tear Us Apart" would've made a good name for a Titled After the Song film, and it kinda fits here.

Less serious suggestion: "Oh, Hi!"

I don't know where to put this, but I'm working on a Documentary about the fanbase for The Room, and I thought anyone visiting this TV tropes page would find it interesting. Here's the fanpage: https://www.facebook.com/tearingmeapaht

Since when does it fail the Bechdel Test? Even if, as the poster needlessly comments, "the cancer discussion feels thrown in in an attempt to pass" it passes. The Bechdel Test makes no statement about honoring the spirit of the test. The test isn't a gold standard anyway. Its a commentary on a trend in movie making, not the individual movies.
