I'm not sure that The Judge disappearing after getting sliced in half by the Grim Reaper qualifies as What Happened to the Mouse?. Every other ghost hit with the scythe goes on into the afterlife: Ray, Sarge, Stuart and Cyrus, with the last two being seen in heaven. If Frank landed a hit with the scythe against Johnny in the crypt, he'd solve the movie a lot sooner as well, or at least the movie implies as much.
