Does young Clark Kent actually play high school football at all? Some of the descriptions on this page imply as much, but that wasn't my impression from the film — he seemed to just handle the equipment for the team.
i think i've managed to find a compromise for Luthor's entry under Adaptational Wimp. while his methods are as dangerous as ever, his endgame is somewhat low-key compared to, say, hijacking the country's entire defense network. not bad, just a little less than what we'd expect from the character.
