-Spoiler Alert- did I miss something or did nothing happen with Detective John Felkner after he was shot? I was positive at that moment in the movie that it was going to become a major plot point, but I didn't hear another mention of the character in the rest of the film.
I suppose one could assume that Jacques' guys just gathered up the corpse and took care of it, and that Felkner didn't tell anyone he was going to D'Arbo's house, but I'd like to actually see that. Instead I have dangling plot thread syndrome and it's driving me a little nuts.
At the end of the day you can chalk it up to "black comedy, therefore cop character we've gotten to know gets killed and nothing more is said". But anyway, it bugged me. File this one under head scratchers?
