I'm removing him from
- Asshole Victim: Bob Morton, the corrupt corporate guy who sets the Robocop program in motion, is blown up by Rick Jones. Interestingly enough, the filmmakers state that test audiences felt bad for him during his death scene.
He's sleazy and unethical, but not enterily unsimpathetic, he's a at least A Lighter Shade of Black, and his death is closer to Alas, Poor Villain -even if he's not a villain- than this trope.
If the audience feels bad for him, then not an example. And in-story he's missed, Jones is fired for killing him.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNo "Revealing Mistakes" category? I'm still pretty new here & learning the site, so I'm not real sure about adding stuff. However, I just watched the film & caught a goof. When Clarence & his boys finish trying out their new grenade launchers & are about to go to the steel factory, Clarence slaps the room on his 6000 SUX. At that point the mirror falls off the windshield inside the care. Makes it pretty obvious the car's a hastily repaired & mocked up junker.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.So...why isn't there a fanfic recommendation page on Robo Cop?
Hide / Show RepliesBecause nobody started one. You can start the page with the template on Fanfic Recommendations (I think) on FanficRecs.Robo Cop 1987.

Why is Morton a villain on the character section. Sure he's a jerk, but he's not malicious or anything.
