This article (and the YMMV page) seems to take some interpretations of the film as concretely true when the film itself is much more ambiguous. For instance, the first 3/4ths of the movie being Diane Selwyn's dream is certainly a possible reading, but it isn't an immutable fact in the way that — say — Dorothy's dream of Oz is, for example. Also, taking the elderly couple as inherently sinister, the Cowboy as a non-human alien or the detectives and Mr. Roque plots as being "aborted arcs" from when it was a TV show... All of these are (in some cases quite esoteric) interpretations of the movie that are being presented as matter-of-factly as the actresses' hair color. In my opinion much of this should be removed or at the very least rewritten to leave it more open-ended. Like, the Cowboy could be an emissary from the fay realm with a strange mastery over electrical technology or whatever, I guess. ...Or he could just be an eccentric hitman employed by Mr. Roque who hasn't replaced the lightbulb over his ranch gate in a while, y'know?
