An apology, Betoniarz. A recent thread on ATT informs me that while beginning a "spoilers off" suggestion on the discussion page is a good start, it is best to confirm a broad range consensus on ATT or the Forums.

The movie is nearly twenty years old. I propose spoilers become unmarked with the standard warning at the top.

Actually, it can and does. I've seen many older works (15+ years old) that have, by troper consensus, shifted to spoilers off because the work is relatively obscure and the few spoilers they contain really aren't that shocking.

Especially a romantic comedy from 2001 that involves Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman separated by time travel. There's virtually no doubt that that they are going to get together by the end of a movie that's 19 years old.

I personally have no objections to removing the spoiler tags.

Also, how was Dance Party Ending a "mis-use"?

The story ends with a party and they are dancing in celebration. Which is all what it takes to qualify for that trope.

Same goes with Stable Time Loop: Stuart went back in time, created the mess, introduces Kate to Leopold, which turns out to close the loop, because the only way the ending and history can play up is via Kate ending in the past, because Stuart was there in the first place. It was poorly worded in the original entry, but cutting it out and claiming misuse is just plain wrong.

Did I mention your edit commentaries come off as needlessly condescending?

I love having discussions on tvtropes. I find working through trope examples fun and helpful to becoming a better writer and editor. Sometimes when working through a discussion, I realize my wording in either the example itself or the associated edit reason was not as clear as it could be and I learn to write them better.

Other times I find that my understanding of the trope was incorrect and other times I learn that my understanding of the movie/episode/book was inaccurate.

I enjoy this process and am open to discussing Dance Party Ending and Stable Time Loop with you.

However, I am challenged by your statement... "Did I mention your edit commentaries come off as needlessly condescending?"

When writing it can be tricky picking up the exact tone and intensity of a sentence so I'll apologize in advance if I've misread this.

However, the vibe that first jumps out at me is antagonistic, snarky, and the sense of wanting to take someone down a few steps from a perceived high horse.

I've been editing here on tvtropes for over four years and while my edit reasons have sometimes been noted as being a bit lengthy, I've never had them called condescending.

If you'd like to approach a discussion of these two tropes with an open mind, that could be fun. If you're spoiling to clash with someone you perceive as "needlessly condescending", not so much.
