My edits under 'Hypocrite,' 'Never My Fault,' and 'Even Evil Has Standards' were edited out, the reasoning being that you can't blame Harry for Ray accidentally killing a child because Ray, a hitman contracted to murder an adult for him, messed up the job and the child was not *supposed* to get caught in the crossfire. I still think there is logic in my position, however, because I find this argument to be akin to 'I gave a drunk my car keys and he ran over a child, but it's not my fault because that wasn't *supposed* to be what happened.' Blaming the driver (i.e. Ray) seems pretty unfair when you're blatantly overlooking your own role in things, by setting up the circumstances where something like that could happen by doing something you clearly shouldn't have been doing, and when you obviously should have known better. Harry setting up a murder and then blaming Ray for all the fallout still comes across as very self-serving, even if Harry does seem to genuinely believe it's entirely on Ray. It never seems to occur to him that being a crime-lord who has people killed is going to ruin lives he didn't necessarily intend on destroying, and acts like it's all Ray's fault because he 'didn't do the job properly.' And the fact that he apparently finds what Ray did to be so heinous he has to kill him over it (for moral considerations, mind you, and not practical ones) just makes the dissonance more glaring.
