For one thing, I don't see how he's "clearly supposed to be American"; then the same post that just said he has an American accent points out he has a Swedish accent and a very Swedish name; then he's quoted as speaking a line of Swedish; and in the middle of it all pops up the blindingly obvious possibility that he's Swedish-American.
