General question...in the fanfics including Mass Effect, why is Shepard always a Fem Shep? I don't have a problem rolling a Fem Shep (though I do run Male Shep more often than not as I like Mark Meer). In most fiction about Mass Effect, Shepard is a woman. Thoughts?

Most Fanfic Writers Are Girls (although that's probably more inaccurate and sexist than I realize)? Jennifer Hale and her voice acting? These are just a few ideas, and I could probably think of more, but that's all I got right now
