Two of the three entities mentioned under Forgotten Realms are essentially references to old Norse mythology.

Here Kezef the Chaos Hound is similar to Fenrir as it's one of three world nemeses. Also note the parallels as far as the deity Tyr is concerned: Both in Norse mythology and in the FR campaign setting Tyr lost his right hand after Fenrir/Kezef had been bound to prevent disaster.

Dendar the Night Serpent closely resembles Jörmungandr (aka. the Midgard Serpent) and is therefore the second world nemesis.

Only Ithyak-Ortheel isn't matched by Norse mythology, because it doesn't match Hel's role.

Should we include this reference in the article or not?

Maybe, although personally I think the page is a mess, with all the old pointers shoehorned without modifications into the new categories whether they fit or not (for example, all the Elder Evils from the eponymous book are in "Other", despite several of them fitting elsewhere - Father Llymic is from the Far Realm, Zargon and Sertrous are from Baator and the Abyss respectively. Plus, it more or less ignores a lot of changes according to editions. I'm thinking a full rewrite might be in order; I'll see if I can insert Dendar and Kezef's Shout-Out/expy natures unobtrusively if/when I ever get to rewriting it.

I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me.
