Is it actually offensive to trans people to note that they had different names before? That sounds like Political Correctness Gone Mad. The entry isn't claiming it's their "real name", it's not referring to them by those names, they're just there as a reference (which is useful since some works are released under those names).
Now, if that's actually offensive then of course it should go. I just haven't heard of that being the case.

Even so, deadnaming a trans person is usually considered greatly frowned upon and incredibly rude at best.
The "formerly known as" section is mostly unnecessary (Google can answer that if anyone really doesn't know) and quite offensive to trans people. I think it should be removed.
