Interesting point. I'm wondering how the convention arose to use British English spelling for the Grey Spy, in all fan references to her. The original cartoon uses Am E - "Gray Spy" - and you'd expect this would be consistent throughout in a comic strip from the USA. But seemingly not so, when searching for the cartoon and its history and context online where she is invariably "Grey". Even here on TVT, the "Grey" spelling occurs five times as often as "Gray", which is interesting.
