Could be I'm misremembering, but I could have sworn a strip ran in our local paper where Sarge did lift Bettle Bailey's helmet. We saw his eyes as well as something written across his forehead derogatory to the military.
Cookie graduating 50th out of 25 isn't Broke the Rating Scale because that one is about someone giving a rating, whereas this example is just stated as fact, unexplained, not as someone's opinion. Thinking it might be because of Broke the Rating Scale having been applied is to speculate beyond what is stated. By what is stated, it is Beyond the Impossible.
