Despite being billed as "intertwining and alternating", this isn't quite how the series played out - X Lives stands alone and only feeds into X Deaths with the final splash page of the final issue.

With that in mind, I think we can accurately (and more easily) cover them on two separate works pages, if we have enough content for both. Which also lets us use the actual work names (currently redirects) as page names, in line with policy best practice.

Any concerns about this approach?

That’s not necessary. As said they really are two intertwining stories that end up wrapping together.

Is there anything I missed prior to the very final page of Lives that refers to Death?

The last issue of lives leads into the last issue of deaths

Yes, that was my point - the first four issues of Lives make absolutely no reference to Deaths; the Mikhail and Omega Red story stands alone. It's only at the very end of it that it continues in the other book.

Whereas Deaths at least shows Jean and Xavier with an unconscious Logan, even if it doesn't really cover the events of Lives.

That's not really "intertwined", that's Simultaneous Arcs coming together at the end.

I just think it’s unnecessary. We should leave it
