So, I'm not quite sure what to do with the fact that Captain America is black in this continuity vis a vis Race Lift. Technically, as of the time of the comic's launch, Captain America is black in 616. Thus not an example.

However, we all know that's going to be temporary and even if it weren't the case, the fact that Cap's black when he's traditionally white seems worth noting.

If it's Steve Rogers being black, that'd definitely be a Race Lift.

Presumably not, considering Earth-65 Captain America is a woman as well.

IIRC the Rogers of Earth-65 was a man, but he never became Captain America. Samantha Wilson - who is a Gender Flipped version of Sam Wilson - did.

(Reposting from the Characters page discussion in case it was missed the first time around)

Do you guys think S.I.L.K. should have a separate folder with the characters related to it (e.g. Earth-65 Cindy Moon, Jesse Drew, and Dr. Otto Octavius)?

Ok, I will get around to creating it later tonight.

I don't know who came up with the caption, "Outta the fridge and into the suit," but that is some high-level troperifically funny material! (I could look it up, but this site gets rebooted more often than the Marvel universe, so the history is lost to me.) With Gwen being Stuffed into the Fridge even before Green Lantern's girlfriend was, as well as the trope namer for I Let Gwen Stacy Die, this is some high-level trope awareness. For the comic to then produce the line, "Fridged off a bridge," I was in grave danger of spitting my mouthful of coffee onto my monitor. Kudos to the troper and kudos to the comic!
