Wasn't aware of that rule, especially since it's something I've seen done before for different versions of a character — for example, Saber from Fate has different folders for her appearances in Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night despite those works being in the same universe, as do some iterations of Link from The Legend of Zelda series — but that sounds fair enough.
Edited by Arawn999Must a problem across the entire wiki then, as Arawn 999 said there are multiple franchise pages that don't do that. All the character's tropes being on one page does make far more sense and is more convenient though. How would we treat Meridus though considering Eddie just broke the timeloop and so will never actually become him? Does he still count as his own character or should he be moved to Eddie's page despite not really being Eddie?
Clones, Bad Future versions, separate personalities and Alternate Universe versions seem to be acknowledged as exceptions. But it is a mess, and we probably need the Characters cleanup thread to help sort out a more formal policy, because it's been stated on ATT but not in Administrivia guidance.
OK all three have been moved to their respective pages. When I get the time I'll see if there are any other examples in the Venom character hub that need moving as well.
I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I, havin' just read that comic, honestly feel terrible for Angelo. Sure, Peter was completely right about how being bullied or abused isn't an excuse for becoming a murderer, but on the other hand, his dad's a bloodthirsty mafia don. The poor kid was born into a life of crime and a family of killers, and the symbiote was only spurring him on. And not to be a complainer, but Peter honestly came across as a jerk in that scene. Callin' him a "little freak," and saying "oh, you weren't bullied any worse than I was" when he has no way of actually knowing that...jeez.
(Although yes in the same issue Peter gave a couple million bucks to some random waitress, and I'm not sayin' he's a bad dude!! And I know it was also like, heat-of-the-moment and he was prolly off-kilter from what happened to his aunt but DAMN bro, didja have to rip into him like that??)
Edited by MP-Lily Hide / Show RepliesTo be fair, Angelo did just brutally murder a Spider-Man cosplayer.
Until after Go Down Swinging Peter has held a grudge against the symbiote and whoever was it's host, (to the point of trying to murder it) couple that with Angelo being a villainous version of Venom and its not really surprising this was his reaction.

The rules for Shared Universe character pages is that character sheets shouldn't be duplicated - Peter Parker, Mac Gargan and the 'Superior' Spider—Man (Otto Octavius in Peter's body) all have their own character entries elsewhere.
(And some of their Venom entries aren't character tropes)
With that in mind, they should really be handled like Flash - this should link back to their existing page and valid character tropes should be moved across.
Please comment if you have concerns about this.
