I have a question regarding some info I see on the page. Gargamel beating the living shit out his godfather Lord Balthazar is mentioned several times in trope examples (like Right Makes Might, Pre-Asskicking One-Liner etc.) and some of these examples claim it happens in the second Christmas special of the animated series (which is, if I'm not mistaken, Tis The Season To Be Smurfy), yet when I look it up there's no sign of either villain there and as such it doesn't happen there. My question is, which episode is "the second Christmas special" referring to if the actual special doesn't even feature either villain, assuming it actually does happen? I'm just really confused, and using YKTS didn't help much (after 20 replies, most of which were bumps, I got no answer) so I wanted to come here and ask.

I don't remember Gargamel even giving his godfather a beating in any episode that I have watched of them appearing together, so I get the feeling the whole thing was just made up. Anyway, the second Christmas special is when the Smurfs help to restore the holiday spirit to an elderly couple when the wife of the couple is ailing while also dealing with a thief in a human village. Neither Gargamel nor Lord Balthazar appear in that special.

That's how I feel as well. Given the fact almost all edits that involve Gargamel protecting Azrael by attacking Balthazar were made by the same user, I can't help but think this might be a case of either someone consciously spreading false information or someone mistaking fanon for canon (or believing a rumor, or something like that).
Either way, if this information is indeed bogus (and is proven to be so), then I'd be mildly disappointed as I really hoped to actually see it in an official episode. I just hope I/we come across something that confirms whether it's all bogus or not.

I personally feel for Grouchy on Hug-A-Smurf Day in the cartoon show episode "A Hug For Grouchy" because that particular holiday on the Smurf calendar is basically giving Smurfs permission to engage in what I would call "hug rape", and I'm not going to be afraid to call it for what it really is. It's just disrespectful, even if the holiday has some good intentions, and it just emphasizes the need for people to be able to say no to how they want to be touched by anybody.

I know, that's why I'm not uploading the rest yet. I can shrink future images to fit, but how do I shrink the current ones? I don't want to replace them because the old ones may end as junk data in the page.

Okay, I investigated and I can't shrink the already uploaded images, so I'll have to replace them with pre-shrunk versions.

The pictures of some characters like Painter, Handy, and Vanity might be better off using their cartoon show appearances rather than their Faceless Masses appearance.

About Grouchy and the green M&M plushie in The Smurfs: if that isn't a Cargo Ship, given that the plushie is in effect an inanimate object that Grouchy mistakes for a real being, and he is seen in the end credits having a romantic cart ride with it, then what exactly is it? It isn't a Toy Ship, given how that trope has been defined.

I have more images, but before uploading them, I need help to shrink those already uploaded to fit with the respective character's text.
