Should Hypocrite be added to Holdo's character page? Her admonishment to Poe for "betting the survival of the resistance on bad odds" rings hollow considering her Lightspeed ram has a "one-in-a-million" chance according to The Rise of Skywalker .

One could argue that she only did it in a desperate situation, but Poe also believed himself to be in one, after all, as far as he knew, there was no plan further than "wait and die".

Nah, that's classic using hypocrite to complain about the character. Aside from the fact the Holdo maneuver being one-in-a-million is a retcon from a later work, it wasn't part of her plan, period. It was only done after her plan was ruined by, well, Poe and Finn's mutiny.

Should Rose Tico be moved to the Resistance Heroes page? She plays a major role throughout TLJ and (barely) survives the film's events, which suggests (to me at least?) that she'll continue to play a big role in Episode IX.

i think yes. she's clearly part of the team as of TLJ, being a big part of the mission coordinated with Finn and Poe, and getting plenty of hero moment so she's more than a Mauve Shirt

Yes, both Rey and Finn are Hypocrites. Read the description of the trope.

Rey has no right to be offended, whatever her reasons, because she refused the same thing Finn did. The fact that she does, get offended (fine "saddened" but the bulging eyes and clenched cheeks default facial expression Daisy Ridley used doesn't sell that), makes her a hypocrite.

Finn is shown laughting while shooting at people he grew-up with, despite claiming that he doesn't want to kill. This easily fullfills "not practicing what they preach", which is the definition of a hypocrite.

Also Tropes Are Not Bad, so stop trying to defend the characters as if it was an insult to point out that a trope applies to them.

She wasn’t being called. She was being offered a job. Theres a difference . A job which would take her away from the only home she has known and the only place where her parents could find her. As far as she knew. Also her refusal to take up the lightsaber is after she has had a major force vision traumatizing her. That makes her human not a hypocrite. Also she didn’t treat Finn like a traitor, his leaving was treated as losing another loved one. A product of her trauma not hypocrisy. There is no evidence of hypocrisy

If you read the back story the first order soldiers do not have comrades. The only friend he had died on his first mission. And in the movie he was not whooping for joy while gunning down former brothers in arms. He was fighting against fanatical soldiers planning on slaughter of billions. He did whoop at Poes display but that is not on him and he was shooting down Tie fighters that was running death from above. Again no sign of hypocrisy. Also no indications of slaughtering of dozens of deck officers. I saw six or seven. Also no indication he was targeting them at all. Even if he was it was an escape attempt. Its like saying Luke not have blown up the Deathstar because of all the poor deck officers. Again no hypocrisy only reaching.

Hypocrisy is saying one thing and doing another. Neither of them do. No hypocrisy. Tropes are not bad, inaccurate ones are.

Ah, yes, they both do, say one thing, while doing another. You just wrote it down yourself. Satine from TCW is one of my favorite characters, and she has Hypocrite, as a trope because she claims Absolute Pacifism, yet she's willing to defend herself non-lethally. If that fullfills the criteria for the trope, these two are over-achivers Also on a side-note tie-ins should not be required reading. I don't care what's in the backstory. I care what's on-screen. And nothing on-screen indicates the whole "first order soldiers do not have comrades thing". In fact there're several examples of comraderei between them on-screen, such the trooper with the riot batton calling Fin a traitor, those two troopers who look at eachother and decide to leave when they hear Kylo screaming for the guards while hacking the furniture, or those other two troopers Rey overheard speaking about speeders.

Finn is trying to save his skin. The First Order kills traitors. In such a situation, it's kill or be killed, and Finn is trying hard not to get killed.

So Werebazs you ignore official cannon because it does not suit you. Even if you didnt there is no indication Finn is whooping it up killing former soldiers. You use he kills former comrades with no indication of camaraderie. It doesnt matter if you dont want to read up . Cannon is cannon. They are not comrades. So he is not a hypocrite fighting against them. Not only that he did not take a vow of pacifism. He decided he would not fight for them. Does not mean he would not fight against him. So again no hypocrisy. You also stated Rey is a hypocrite. How so? She offered to help as long as she went home. She turned down a job offer. Her reaction to Finn leaving is not hypocrisy . Its abandonment issues, you state that she refuses the call and condemn Finn as he does the same. She refused the call AFTER he left. So again no hypocrisy. Also her reaction was not to him refusing the call like she did, but leaving her like her parents did. No connection, no hypocrisy.

Blatant shoehorning for the sake of character-bashing. Remove. Especially if you can't even bother to use proper grammar, spelling, or syntax.
