A troper removed the trope I listed on Murder, She Wrote, specifically Jessica Fletcher's list, citing misuse of BadAss as an example. I disagree and I'd like to gather input before I revert the change, lest I cause an unnecessary edit war.

I believe that Jessica fits the Badass as Tough and Resilient version, and I quote: "The character stays strong despite pain and hazards due to strong willpower". This is where the Badass Pacifist comes from. They don't fight back but their opponent can't hurt them anyways. Determinator covers those characters who are renowned for their limitless willpower; Made of Iron for characters who can't be slowed down by physical injury and don't have an ability like Super Toughness. "

I also believe that Jessica fits the formidable and prevails against unlikely odds versions.

-She constantly faces danger and life-threatening situations, like being held at gunpoint, and even comes close to being killed in seconds, but is saved thanks to Deus ex Machina moments. -She has a broad academic background and is great at analyzing people, a trait that badasses usually have. -There is no rule in the Badass page that says a badass needs to be of the fighter or violent type. If there is, I'd like to see it. -She carries on despite the trauma and emotional scars that she incurs.

May I revert the change or should I respect it?
