Given how radically different the new incarnations of virtually every single returning character are for Mortal Kombat 1 I don't think the current approach of linking returning characters to their old pages and updating their images and tropes is a good idea
I really think we should start new folders for their New Era incarnations and trope from scratch like they're entirely new characters, because they basically are
Just updating pages for characters like Mileena or Tanya or Kenshi is going to get very confusing real fast because they all new backstories personalities and archetypes now
A case could even be made for characters like Fire God Liu Kang, since even he isn't quite the same as his MK 11 appearance (apparent lack of lightning powers, different story role and characterization, etc)

It's what was done for the Soul Series when that underwent a reboot.
Right, but currently that's not what's happening, instead the older character pages are being updated with new tropes and images, and being linked to MK 1's page
So I'm saying instead we should do what was done for the Soul Series and start new character folders on MK 1's page
And undo the recent changes to the old pages
So....am I the only one who think the "first appearance" entry for the characters is redundant, considering each character appears on the character page for the game or media they debuted in? Why exactly don't these pages have "Voiced by"/"Portrayed by" entries like every other character page on this site?
Anyone thought about splitting the reboot character page from the main one? like we did with the star trek films.

And about Sub-Zero V and Noob Saibot... the tropes regarding Noob Saibot should be fused with Sub-Zero V or be in the MK 2 sheet?

Am thinking an entry probably should be added for Jerrod but not entirely sure where to put it? I believe he was first mentioned in Deception but we first actually learn anything about him in 9 and that's where he first has any real presence as part of Ermac.
