^ If you have the Arrival DLC and completed the mission, then yeah, Shepard is under arrest for blowing up the Mass Relay. The quoted entry applies if you don't have the DLC installed or if you imported a ME2 save without finishing Arrival.
I think we should add a bit more context to clarify this.
Edited by RoundRobin - Fly, robin, fly! - ...I'm trying!Uh, since this is solely about Commander Shepard... Should the whole page be renamed as 'Commander Shepard'?
Hide / Show RepliesThe page is called 'Characters: Mass Effect Commander Shepard'. Not 'Commander Shepard'.
I'd imagine it's that way since it's still important to know which game Commander Shepard is from, especially since s/he's the only person on this particular character page. Not everyone plays Mass Effect, after all.
Edited by RedVikingThat's a general convention on how character pages are named on tvtropes - work name, then character name. So the answer is "no".
We might need to rework the page, since some of the tropes here are story and plot tropes, not character tropes.
"The third game opens with Shepard under house arrest for the crimes they committed alongside Cerberus in the previous game"
I'm not sure that is stated correctly. Shepard is under arrest specifically for causing the deaths of 300,000 Batarians by crashing an asteroid into the Alpha Mass Relay (in the Arrival DLC): a mission Shepard explicitly undertook solo.
