Also, try to say "Dolores Haze" in the stiff, clipped accent (parroting upper-class speech) which a poorly-educated snobbish woman like Charlotte Haze was supposed to use.

What exactly does this mean? I know that Don't Explain the Joke might be in effect here, but this entry comes off as too vague.

"Delirious Haze"? I don't know either. Sidebar: I cut out the Endearingly Dorky trope for Humbert. He's not endearing nor dorky, he's erudite and conniving. He shouldn't count.

"Delirious Haze"... I think that's the closest we'll get, plus it makes some sense (considering Humbert's actions towards Dolores). Thanks for at least providing me with a possible interpretation.
